The 2017-2018 Series will feature Silver level events, where races award points on a 75-point basis as shown below.

These points are tallied for a final score in 5 year age divisions.  A winning pointscore will earn the Australian Series Champion title, plus a qualifying spot into the 2018 XTERRA World Championship at Maui on 28th October 2018.

Athletes need to race at least two (any two) XTERRA Australia series races listed in schedule above to be eligible for qualifying spots and series honours at the end of the season.

The Australian Championship in WA is first race of the 2018/19 series and awards Gold points (100 point scale). Regional events (TBA) will award points on a Silver (75 point) scale.
