XTERRA is booming in the Asia-Pacific region, and highlighting this growth is it’s Townsville debut – scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of September, 2018.

The XTERRA Townsville course is at the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park, once a quarantine station in the early 1900’s and a strategic defence location in World War II. The park offers a fantastic trail network for mountain biking and trail running, all whilst taking in the great views onto Magnetic Island and the Townsville mainland.

XTERRA TOWNSVILLE

Date: 1 September 2018

Distance: 1.5km swim (2 x 750m), 30km mountain bike, 10km trail run

Divisions: Pro/elite, Age Group men and women – 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+, Challenged.

Race as part of a team: 2-3 persons – men, women and coed.

Date: 1 September 2018

Distance: 750m ocean swim, 14km mountain bike and 5km trail run.

Divisions: Age Group men and women –  14-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+, Challenged.

Race as part of a team: 2-3 persons – men, women and coed.

Distances: 42km, 21km, 12km, 5km

CAPE PALLARENDA TRAIL RUN

The Cape Pallarenda Trail Run is the signature run in the Outer Limits Trail Run Series. It offers a 5km and 12km course along with a half and full marathon. Townsville’s only off road marathon race. The start and finish of each race will be at Race HQ in the Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park, once a quarantine station in the early 1900s and a strategic defence location in World War II.
